The Gala Spa Awards, an international beauty and spa competition that honors products and first-class hotels, has announced its 2016 nominees.

The awards are presented by the lifestyle magazine, GALA, which is based in Germany; and Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa. The awards recognize innovative beauty and wellness products and services that meet Gala’s criteria of “sanus per aquam,” which means “healthy through water.” The winners will be honored at an award ceremony at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany, on April 2nd.

A Few of the Nominees

There are nominees in eight categories, including these:

Cult Concepts – Doctor Babor’s Boost Cellular and Ampoule Concentrates FP;  La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane Contour Yeux; and Weleda’s Skin Food Hautcreme.

Treatment Concepts – Charlotte Meentzen’s Natur Pur Balance Chiasamen-Facial; Clarins’ The Art of Touch; and Reviderm’s PCA Peel Power Lift.

Innovation Concepts – Dr. Grandel’s Beautygen Renew Body; Filorga’s Detox Body Treatment and La Prairie’s Anti-Aging Rapid Response Booster.   

Innovative Spa Concepts – Cocon Thai Spa / Seerose Resort & Spa, Switzerland; Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, Maldives; and Spa Minera, Italy.
